If something I say sounds insane it's usually a shitpost, but if you wanna be sure u can ask (It will give me feedback to add notation so that I can be sure it's not misunderstood)

@j_g00da It was already running on fast refresh yeah (if you look closely you can see ghosting it causes, but tbh it looks kinda cool imo)
tho yeah i did couple of mistakes which made it slower (like running it in debug mode instead of release lol, tho when I checked it was pretty small difference, ~0.2 FPS)
I was thinking about embedding the frames directly in the program instead of reading from files, but when I checked all frames already weight like 500 MB, so i think all swap operations and stuff on that would actually make it much slower (maybe could compress it all? idk)
It still was pretty fast tbh, I expected worse results but FPS was around 1.8, imo not that bad for my first time playing with this thing
I am tempted to try running Doom on it lol, but that feels a bit harder than just displaying still images in a sequence (might still try tho)

how much of it involves trigonometry cus that's like one thing I just can't fit into my head and find it sucking ass
I kinda enjoy math, it seems cool to me, except that one part, I just can't understand sin and cos and shit
idk why, maybe I just need to learn it in a different way than I was taught

and sorry for explaining like that i feel like replyguy doing this so like ignore it if u dont want that whatever im just nerdy enough to feel need to say this but
it doesn't just "work perfectly in space"
like
1. there are a lot of checks on earth to qualify for flight specifically to check if ur body can endure it
2. you have to work out almost constantly (or well, at the very least A LOT) to fight against muscle atrophy (and even with that it still can happen)
3. there are found increased cases of anemia or blood clots found in astronauts
4. generally lots of fuckery with cardiovascular system is happening and being researched
5. we still don't know if it's viable to have children in space (at least afaik? maybe it changed idk, I remember it not being known yet)
I mean I agree it's still insane that, even with that and probably more, body does work in space which was not at all made for that, but yeah I would not say perfectly tbh
