If something I say sounds insane it's usually a shitpost, but if you wanna be sure u can ask (It will give me feedback to add notation so that I can be sure it's not misunderstood)

I can be weird and lewd here, I usually try to CW stuff correctly, mostly succeed but viewer discretion is advised, I am not strictly mDNI but I def would require not interacting with lewd posts, and I will block if I realize that this is happening.
Also lewd stuff I post are usually jokes, I am in a monogamous relationship so do NOT try to unironically hit on me. Ironically is fine if I know you and its all for jokes.

Yeah there's uv which is cool and I use it when I use Python now
but Rust's tooling is just way better imo
also performance and being a compiled language is nice
Python is fine language, I do like it, but I prefer Rust ^^

Honestly main reason I use and stick with Rust might be just that it was basically second language I learned after Python (Well there was a bit of C++ and Go but that was just small flukes)
and Rust compared to Python is well, like an actual language
so I like it :)

@lily @wolf480pl honestly it's pretty good, and I respect it, but sometimes search results are just worse than if using one of the backends directly
rn I'm just using duckduckgo, it's far far far from perfect, I'd say that it's barelly good, but provided me with better results than searxng at times, and also backends sometimes liked to just shit themselves which caused searxng to just not show any results neocat_googly_woozy

Not a lot, tbh I could count these cases on one hand, but it did
but yeah, google at least used to also provide IA links to websites it showed so that if website was dead then IA could still be used to access it (if it was archived) but they removed it lol and I'm not aware other search engines do this (maybe Searxng do? but I stopped using it)
anyway after all this yapping I conclude internet is dead, good night
