"forcemasc" isn't subversive because there's nothing to subvert. maleness is the default under patriarchy. there was never any kink revolving around women force-masculinizing other women to fuck them, because women are at the lowest rung of the cisnormative gender hierarchy.

I agree! But that is also not really what I meant by this, because what I've said is that reclaiming "forcefem" has no longer impact on those issues, because it was watered down, not by forcemasc but by the fact it became a joke or kink. If I was looking into issues with forcefem I'd start with that not the fact some people decided to make their own version of it.

...and transfems are regularly shouted down and canceled for mentioning it in those contexts.

This too is irrelevant to forcemasc. It is an issue, I agree! But how is that related to forcemasc being a thing. (Not to mention that forcemasc was also being shouted down by transfems, the whole tumblr drama revolving isff and isfm was not one-sided at all)

First part however, doesn't exactly explain that a lot.
You've said that it removes the subversion away from forcefem, my problem is that, I don't see how is that happening.
If anything, if that part was removed, it was not because of forcemasc but because of how forcefem got popularized as a joke or a "standard" (as in, people just seem to fantasize about it regardless of being cis or trans) kink.
At this point I don't see forcemasc as a harm to forcefem, not because it has or does not have impact, but simply because, at least from what I've seen, forcefem has no longer any real impact on anything, since it's not taken seriously (in terms of subverting how forcefemming someone is viewed) anymore.
Maybe I am missing something but at this point whenever I see forcefem mentioned it's either a joke or a kink.
And if its used this way, then I think forcemasc has no real impact on tramsfems.

I agree with first part, its just true history
But I don't trully see how forcemasc is in on itself transmisogynist
Some afab people, while this problem is not AS big as with amab forcefem, are also subjected to ridicule when they seem masculine, they can be laughed at for something as ridiculous as having unshaved legs, or being tomboy, or whatever.
And forcemasc could be used to cope with that.
Now yes, like I've said, I agree that feminization of "men" (where its either cis men or trans women) is usually a much bigger issue, which forcefem was reclaiming.
But forcemasc still can reflect in some part similar thing.
And even if forcemasc is an invention, tbh so what, I don't really see how that actually harms trans women in the end. How does forcemasc really marginalize further.
History about where those came from is important, but I don't see how forcemasc impacts forcefem reception at all?

And tumblr thing, honestly idk using tumblr as an argument just seems weird to me because that (like most social media) platform is always gonna be filled with biases and disagreements and mods that suck, if moderation of tumblr is transmisogynist how is that relevant in the forcemasc thing in any way.

I don't wanna fight, I hope you don't read this as an attack or anything, but I really don't see how forcemasc impacts forcefem or transfems.

I just imagine that the point of that movie isn't the main plot, and that main character was actually made just so that creators have an excuse to create this whole amazing world, while having an "plot" so they could sell it to the producers
