They could safely disregard XLibre as such because it was community consensus that its shit, and it's existance and support didn't bring anything for framework.
Omarchy, on the other hand, is growing and becoming more visible, and DHH is still popular and "important" cus of Ruby On Rails and shit.
So the money making decision is to go with DHH and be best buddies with him, regardless of who he is.
I see Xlibre as a PR stunt at this point, it was a safe thing for framework to do
