@yassie_j I think House is meant to be dislikeable genius kind of characterThere are a lot of times where it is basically stated that he would be fired for multiple shit he does, but he is too valuable asset to the hospital to actually be fired.
And also generally he is not just racist, there's also sexism, transphobia, to the lesser degree homophobia too.
Tho I also think it's just that writrs tried to be "funny", and I think that him acting this way is not a deep message about bigotry in medicine, more like a typical 2000s comedy (not saying this as a way to protect the writers, more like the opposite).
At the very least show got Foreman which, while sometimes being butt of the jokes, is at least shown to be competent person, going against House's bullshit (well... except when he do goes to break into someone's house, but usually there's also a white person with him so it's more like "boss told me to do something so I have to do it", rather than it being his own will to do it)
House's character always was made to be problematic, and it wasn't rly being accounted for even when they made him have his "redeemption" arc in the finale.
