AI rant
Honestly one thing I really really REALLY hate about AI (or well LLMs) is thatI used to be so fascinated with field of machine learning
Since I was a child, I always loved tinkering with RNNs and predictive models
It was so cool, watching videos of practical applications of AI.
Heck, I used to be a private beta tester for OpenAI's GPT 3 model
And they ruined it, of course they ruined it. It was so obvious in hindsight that they will ruin it. It was so obvious that once they'd find a monetizable way of using it, they would capitalize it and ruin one of my deepest passions.
It was so fun to look at machines trying to talk. It's not fun anymore.
