If something I say sounds insane it's usually a shitpost, but if you wanna be sure u can ask (It will give me feedback to add notation so that I can be sure it's not misunderstood)

It seems interesting but I dislike the disconnection between public and private chain for seemingly no reason (maybe it makes it easier legally to sell the public token and then ur able to convert it to the private one?)
And back when I was on twitter Zcash community was really really obnoxious lmao

I wouldn't shill cryptocoins too much
Especially that currently most of them actually help the government rather than hurt it. (Kind reminder that governments keep crypto as reserves)
There is like one good cryptocurrency, and it's cool I so personally like it (XMR my beloved), and there maybe are some other okay ones that do help
But whole ecosystem of cryptocoins (what I assume was meant by the og post) is just typical ultracapitalist bullshit, including (or rather especially) NFTs, heck even most of XMR community I've seen is free market capitalism ancap bullshit
They are def not harmless either, they are used to scam people like with those bullshit Hawk Tuah coins (You can argue it's only scamming gullible people, that is kinda true but a scam's a scam, not everyone is advanced cryptotrader that knows shit, some people might just wanna make some money because they're desperate to try)
I do agree that age verification is worse than cryptocurrencies, since it is actually directly harmful idea instead of indirectly like crypto's, but I do get the point said in that post
